Managed ethernet

Managed Ethernet services are the provision and management of fixed cost uncontended LAN speed connections between offices and or the Internet (available at speeds of 10Mbps, 100Mbps and 1Gbps. Internet transit (bandwidth) can be managed in the same way as bandwidth on demand lines.

Managed Ethernet lines come with guaranteed levels of service and connection uptime (99.85%). Pro-Net connections are available both with or without router hardware and can be supplied to any location on the UK mainland.

Managed Ethernet lines can also be used to privately interconnect with the Pro-Net network avoiding transit (bandwidth) charges, useful for management of co-located servers, and as part of a larger Virtual Private Networks.
