Intrusion Detection

Our Instrusion Detection System (IDS) looks for attacks/threats going into, and out of your network. Alerts raised by the IDS are visible from within Control Zone and you can choose to be alerted via email or SMS when new threats are detected. Time based analysis is also performed on alerts, which looks at alerts over a period of time and locates possible hack attempts combining multiple alert signatures.

The data responsible for triggering each alert is logged and can be viewed to help you determine if an alert is genuine or may be a false positive. If security advisories or information relating to the type of attack is available, web links are provided for you to visit and read about the threat.
