Web Filter

Web activity can be blocked based on URL blacklisting, and/or content filtering. Each type of blocking can be enabled or disabled on a per user (IP address) basis.

URL Blacklisting

We maintain a list of categories and associated URLs for blacklisting and you can choose which categories to block on your network from within Control Zone. Custom black (deny) and white (allow) lists of domains can also be created.

Content Filtering

By analysing text contained within web pages, content filtering attempts to locate sites which may be inappropiate for viewing and blocks access to them if excessive swearing or adult material is found for example.
